Quality Engineering Architect – Securities & Lending

About the role

The Quality Engineering Architect will lead the design and implementation of quality assurance strategies for securities and lending software solutions. This position ensures that banking applications are robust, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a strategic vision for quality engineering aligned with securities and lending business needs.
• Design and maintain test automation, performance, security, and compliance testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and product owners to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead the creation and execution of automated test suites covering functionality, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on CI/CD and DevOps best practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Identify quality risks specific to securities and lending and propose mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular audits of testing processes and metrics for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and detailed quality reporting to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality engineering or software testing within banking, especially securities and lending.
• Deep understanding of securities and lending products, processes, and regulatory environments.
• Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery and DevOps practices.
