Qualified Tyre Delivery Driver

About the role

Looking for qualified drivers to operate LDVs with tyre industry experience. The driver safely delivers stock to clients and branches, handling heavy lifting and local routes while holding a valid South African driver’s licence and Professional Driving Permit.

Key responsibilities

• Transport tyres and goods safely to customers and retail branches on time.
• Load and unload heavy tyres manually or with equipment, ensuring proper stacking.
• Respond to roadside breakdowns and fit tyres.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle daily (oil, water, tyres, brakes) and report faults.
• Check invoices against loaded stock, obtain signed delivery notes, and handle cash or card collections.
• Comply with South African road traffic laws and keep licences and permits up to date.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Valid South African driver’s licence (Code 10 or 14) and Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) – Category G or Goods.
• 1–3 years of heavy or light delivery driving experience, preferably in automotive or logistics.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy truck or passenger car tyres.
