Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

About the role

Clicks Amalinda is seeking a qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join its pharmacy team. You will provide pharmaceutical care within the scope of practice and ensure smooth day‑to‑day dispensary operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of customer service and health advice.
• Manage stock control, repack medicines and maintain accurate inventory.
• Perform dispensary administration, including compounding and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company SOPs, including SAPC regulations.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented pharmacy environment.

Required profile

• Matric with Maths (essential).
• Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant status as defined by the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
• Integrity, ethical work practice and attention to detail.
• Team‑player attitude and strong customer‑service focus.

Required skills

• MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with SAPC and relevant legal requirements.
• Basic calculation ability.
