Qualified Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy (Centurion)

About the role

Healthchem Group is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Qualified Pharmacist to join its modern retail pharmacy in Centurion. You will deliver clinical dispensing, medication counseling, and ensure safe, compliant pharmaceutical services for our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.
• Oversee and operate automated dispensing robots (ZORA/ZORO) and smart lockers.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.
• Support blister‑packing operations and chronic medication programs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and other team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Provide clear medication counseling and patient education.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service quality and customer experience.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council.
• Strong clinical pharmacy skills, including dispensing accuracy and patient counseling.
• Experience in retail or operational pharmacy settings; exposure to technology‑driven models is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for a diverse community.
