About the role
Ferreira Aviation is seeking motivated, safety‑conscious individuals to join its aircraft maintenance team in George. Opportunities are available for a qualified Aircraft Mechanic and for enthusiastic Aircraft Maintenance Apprentices who wish to develop their technical knowledge in a professional environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform inspections, servicing, repairs and general maintenance on aircraft in accordance with approved procedures.
- Follow strict aviation safety and quality standards while documenting work accurately.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to ensure aircraft are airworthy.
- For apprentices: support senior technicians, gain hands‑on experience, and develop practical aviation maintenance skills.
Required profile
- Relevant aircraft maintenance or mechanical qualification (or technical qualification for apprentices).
- Practical experience or strong interest in aircraft maintenance.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Residency in George.
