About the role
Kazang Connect is seeking a proactive Python Developer to join its IT team in Cape Town. You will work on the Content Ready platform, the core system that powers Kazang’s trading operations, delivering new features and maintaining existing functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain new and existing features on the Content Ready platform.
- Build interfaces for purchasing new content and implement performance and functional enhancements.
- Create and modify reports to support business needs.
- Investigate and resolve support queries and technical issues.
Required profile
- Matriculation certificate and a tertiary qualification such as a BSc.
- 3‑5 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, proactive and results‑oriented attitude.
Required skills
- Strong experience with Python (preferred) and familiarity with other OOP languages such as C# or Java.
- Working knowledge of MySQL and the LAMP stack.
- Web development skills including HTML and JavaScript.
