Property Host – Short‑Term Rental Management

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Property Host to manage short‑term rental properties in Langebaan. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, issues, and special requests.
• Provide property information, check‑in/check‑out details, and local recommendations.
• Oversee cleanliness and presentation of assigned properties and coordinate cleaning schedules.
• Maintain property supplies, safety features, and monitor locks and smoke detectors.
• Personalise guest stays with welcome packages and local guides, collect feedback and drive improvements.
• Handle minor maintenance issues and report damages to the portfolio manager.

Required profile

• Experience in hospitality, property management or customer service (short‑term rentals preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Own cleaning staff or ability to manage property turnover efficiently.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
