Projects Lead – Field Execution & Project Delivery

About the role

The Projects Lead is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of maintenance, repair and new development projects across assigned business units. You will ensure that all contractor work complies with approved scopes, engineering standards and operational requirements through hands‑on site inspections, audits and real‑time issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly site visits to verify contractor compliance with scope, quality, safety and timelines.
• Perform scheduled inspections and random audits, addressing poor workmanship, scope deviations and delays immediately.
• Execute the Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) plan, validate completion of jobs and escalate recurring issues.
• Own new project delivery from council/wayleave approval through site verification, contractor briefing, installation supervision, final inspection and hand‑over for flighting.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget while managing site‑related risks.
• Act as primary field contact for contractors, monitor performance and enforce compliance.
• Maintain audit‑ready field records and provide real‑time feedback to the Projects Coordinator and management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field execution, contractor management and quality control within construction or maintenance environments.
• Strong ability to identify and resolve site‑related issues quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records.
