Project Specialist – Content Production

About the role

ICON plc is seeking a Project Specialist to join the Firecrest team, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of content projects for the industry‑leading Firecrest portal. You will work closely with the Production team to ensure high‑quality, site‑facing content is delivered on time and meets stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Firecrest Production team in planning, coordinating and delivering content‑related projects.
• Review project requirements, content materials and deliverables for accuracy, quality and alignment with standards.
• Manage project timelines, track progress and help achieve milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, content creators, designers and production teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports and workflow tracking tools.
• Assist with content updates, change requests and quality‑control reviews throughout the production lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows and efficiencies across content production activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management, communications, life sciences, marketing or a related field (preferred but not essential).
• Previous experience supporting content production, project coordination, digital projects or operational delivery environments.
• Ideally prior experience in the clinical research or pharma industry.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing materials for quality, accuracy and consistency.
• A proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
