Project Manager – Technical Studies (Mining & Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead technical and feasibility studies for mining, construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering studies in line with industry standards, Mventech frameworks and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define study scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations using MS Project.
• Monitor progress, manage budgets and ensure milestones are met.
• Lead the preparation of feasibility studies, concept designs and technical reports.
• Review and validate technical inputs from engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Act as primary liaison between clients, consultants and contractors.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations and progress reviews with stakeholders.

Required profile

• BEng/BSc in Engineering or related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in construction project management and mining studies.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project (or similar planning tools).
• Cost control, forecasting and risk management.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• PMP or equivalent project management qualification (preferred).
