Project Manager - Renewable Energy

About the role

The client seeks a full‑time Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end development of three to five utility‑scale renewable energy projects, guiding them from financial close through to post‑close delivery. You will act as the central integrator, coordinating specialist workstreams and ensuring disciplined project governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk registers for a portfolio of renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate workstreams to produce lender‑ready packages, including industrial contracting, procurement strategies, off‑take agreements, PPAs, and investment‑ready financial models.
• Drive due‑diligence, secure approvals, and satisfy lender conditions precedent to achieve financial close.
• Lead the transition from financial close to execution, establishing contracts, schedules, governance frameworks, and handover processes for construction teams.
• Implement scalable project‑management governance, reporting systems, and automation tools to strengthen portfolio delivery.

Required profile

• Professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Proven track record delivering complex capital projects through financial close.
• Experience in post‑close delivery, construction or commissioning is advantageous.
• Background in renewable‑energy development or related technical fields.
• Ability to operate as a cross‑functional integrator and drive decision‑making.
