About the role
The Project Manager Platform Engineer leads end‑to‑end execution of platform engineering initiatives, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure and resilient technology platforms that support the company's strategic objectives in Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules and milestones.
- Drive delivery across cloud, infrastructure and security initiatives.
- Manage cross‑team dependencies, delivery risks and maintain RAID logs.
- Act as the primary delivery interface to stakeholders and facilitate governance forums.
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, track financial performance and support cost optimisation.
- Produce executive reports, track KPIs and monitor delivery performance.
Required profile
- Degree in IT or Engineering.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- PMP, Prince2 or Agile certifications preferred.
