Project Manager (Electrical / Construction)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical and construction projects from initiation to delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Create detailed schedules and timelines using project planning tools.
• Allocate and manage labour, equipment and material resources.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet requirements and expectations.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks before they impact delivery.
• Oversee daily site operations and provide guidance to Site Managers and team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5‑10 years of proven experience managing electrical construction projects.
• Professional registration with SACPCMP or ECSA.
• Leadership experience managing multiple teams.
• Familiarity with contract types such as JBCC, FIDIC, NEC and GCC.
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, BCEA, LRA and EEA.
