Project Manager – Defence Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technically complex defence projects within our C&P Department. You will be responsible for delivering R&D projects and customer contracts on time, within budget, and to specification while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure profitable execution of all allocated projects and contracts, respecting schedule, budget and scope.
• Execute R&D projects and customer contracts following the SGD Management system.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation and keep stakeholders informed through steering committees, reports and meetings.
• Provide marketing and bid support, preparing operation data packs (schedule, costing, statement of work).
• Act as the primary point of contact for contract matters and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Participate in technical execution, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
• Travel internationally as required.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of project management experience in defence or a related environment, with 5‑7 years on medium to high‑complexity projects.
• Proven ability to lead virtual, multi‑country teams and manage risks.
• Strong financial knowledge within a project context.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
