Project Manager – Aeronautical Product Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of aeronautical products from concept through to production hand‑over. You will work within our Life Cycle Management (LCM) framework, ensuring projects meet quality, cost and schedule targets while coordinating across multiple disciplines and sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and control project tasks across engineering, manufacturing and support functions.
• Develop and manage the overall project budget, including staffing requirements.
• Align priorities with department managers and the Engineering Director.
• Monitor critical paths, identify major risks (KPIs) and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Resolve project challenges and conflicts, driving continuous improvement.
• Maintain communication channels with internal teams, subcontractors and customers.
• Report project progress as required and ensure milestones are met.

Required profile

• BScEng or equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Significant experience in engineering project management, preferably with a certification.
• Several years in aerospace, automotive, defence or similar high‑tech industries.
• Proven ability to own the development cycle and present results to senior management.
• Strong analytical, strategic and planning capabilities.
• Excellent organisational detail and follow‑through.
• Financial, contractual and commercial negotiation skills.
