Project Engineer

About the role

Pragma is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Shared Services division, supporting internal clients primarily in the Oil & Gas sector. The role offers exposure to a variety of projects, continuous professional development, and a flexible, innovative working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring scope, timeline and budget compliance.
• Implement and optimise enterprise asset management (EAMS/CMMS) systems.
• Conduct asset identification, verification and data‑collection activities.
• Analyse client data to uncover performance‑improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain asset‑management standards, procedures and documentation.
• Design and deliver reports, dashboards and system integrations.
• Provide client training, ongoing support and issue resolution.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement.
• Assist business development, tender submissions and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• 1–3 years experience in project management, EAMS or CMMS environments.
• Solid understanding of asset‑management principles and business analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
