Project Engineer – Customer Training

About the role

The Project Engineer – Customer Training will lead the full lifecycle of training projects for Damen vessels, from design to on‑site delivery. Working primarily from the office and occasionally at customer locations, you will ensure training programmes meet technical and operational needs worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and draft comprehensive training and education plans tailored to each vessel and customer.
• Consult with customer representatives to define programme content and objectives.
• Design and structure training programmes, including technical, nautical and shipbuilding modules.
• Organise worldwide logistics – transportation, accommodation and venue arrangements for trainers and participants.
• Lead projects using the SAP ERP system, monitoring schedule, quality, budget and progress.
• Report project results to internal stakeholders and maintain clear documentation.
• Integrate e‑learning solutions and Learning Management Systems into the training offering.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure seamless incorporation of their training components.
