Professional Architect – Project Lead

About the role

dhk Architects is seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead large‑scale urban projects. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise construction documentation while coordinating multidisciplinary teams on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project teams and site coordination for complex mixed‑use, residential and commercial developments.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications and BIM models to exacting standards.
• Ensure technical and commercial feasibility throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain compliance with industry codes, standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required profile

• SACAP‑registered Professional Architect with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong academic background and proven ability to handle large, complex projects.
• Excellent communication, project management and time‑management skills.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in South Africa.
• Willingness to travel as project needs dictate.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Full competency with BIM CDE workflows and best practices.
