Production Manager – Epping

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic, energetic and self‑motivated individual has arisen at Prestige Clothing’s Epping Manufacturing Plant. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a production unit of approximately 250 employees, delivering high‑quality men’s and ladies’ formalwear on time and in full while continuously improving lead times and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute an operations strategy aligned to TFG D&M strategic objectives, covering quality, speed, dependability, flexibility and cost‑effective planning.
• Ensure production planning meetings, production activities, machine preventative maintenance and maintenance plans are adhered to, maintaining product quality and budgets.
• Manage and motivate a team of ~250 employees with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Review financial statements, activity reports and performance data to identify cost‑reduction and productivity opportunities.
• Achieve required efficiencies, financial targets, on‑time‑in‑full delivery, quality standards, and drive lean manufacturing, 5S, and skills development.

Required profile

• Qualification in Clothing Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent.
• 5–8 years’ experience in a similar production management role within clothing manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, TPM, TQM and Quick Response methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and exposure to MIS systems.
