Product Sales Manager (Process) – Capital Equipment

About the role

As a Product Sales Manager (Process) you will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver mineral‑separation solutions to mining and processing clients. You will act as the trusted interface between process engineers, mine planners and our capital‑equipment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full‑cycle sales process, meeting budget targets and protecting gross margin.
• Build and maintain a pipeline at least three times the annual sales target using structured methodologies.
• Identify and develop at least two new market segments each year through client site visits.
• Match product USPs to client benefits, lead test‑work projects and conduct comprehensive site assessments.
• Manage large capital‑equipment tenders, prepare detailed costing sheets and oversee risk assessments, legal terms and performance guarantees.
• Collect competitor intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Process Engineering or Metallurgy.
• 5‑8 years of engineering sales experience in mining, process equipment or consulting engineering.
• Proven track record of selling large‑scale capital equipment to the mining and minerals‑processing market.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with mineral‑separation equipment (Jigs, UCC, DMS, Sensor Sorting).
• Strong costing and estimating capabilities for capital‑equipment tenders.
• Technical proposal writing and report preparation.
• Understanding of plant design and operations for peer‑level discussions.
• Advanced computer literacy.
