Product Designer (UI/UX) – Digital Products

About the role

Arilo Inc. is seeking a Product Designer to own UI/UX across its digital product portfolio. Based in the V&A Waterfront studio, you will transform complex business requirements into intuitive, market‑ready experiences, guiding design from discovery through developer handoff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product design, including user research, flow mapping, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, prototyping and handoff.
• Design dashboards, SaaS platforms, web applications and mobile products, defining component behaviour, states and micro‑interactions.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems with reusable components, design tokens and thorough documentation.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design intent is preserved during implementation.
• Use analytics, session recordings and usability insights to identify friction points and iterate on flows.
• Coach and review work of designers without UI/UX training, raising overall design standards.
• Present design rationale to clients and stakeholders, incorporate feedback and build trust.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience designing shipped digital products such as dashboards, SaaS platforms or mobile apps.
• Proven ability to simplify complex systems and business logic into clean, usable interfaces.
• Strong visual judgment combined with an understanding of marketing context.
• Excellent communication skills for client presentations and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Figma (components, variables, auto‑layout, design systems, prototyping, Dev Mode).
