Product Application Engineer

About the role

Join Danfoss Power Solutions as a Product Application Engineer and become part of a skilled EMEA team. You will work closely with customers and distribution partners to design and deliver optimized fluid conveyance solutions using Danfoss Aeroquip and specialty products. The role is primarily office‑based with frequent customer visits and about 50% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the trusted technical partner for key customers, driving growth through solution‑oriented engagement.
• Lead pre‑sales activities, translating customer needs into tailored engineering solutions and product specifications.
• Provide end‑to‑end application support, from system design optimization to troubleshooting and field support.
• Coordinate project execution, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and successful product launches.
• Prepare technical quotations, conduct cost analysis, and apply value engineering to optimize commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field.
• Solid understanding of hydraulics and fluid conveyance applications.
• At least 5 years of experience in a customer‑facing engineering, application, or technical support role.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
