About the role
The Procurement Officer supports the department by managing financial data, coordinating travel, maintaining supplier records and providing administrative assistance. This role ensures smooth procurement operations and accurate reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and maintain income and distribution matrices, reconcile monthly credit‑card expenses and submit reports to finance.
- Handle correspondence, schedule meetings, manage calls and keep filing systems up‑to‑date.
- Arrange local and international travel, including flights, accommodation, car hire and foreign‑exchange requirements.
- Update supplier files, ensure compliance with the vendor management system and maintain documentation.
- Draft and publish weekly extranet articles for the procurement team and communicate updates during travel periods.
- Support ad‑hoc procurement projects, own specific initiatives such as bookings and stock control.
- Carry out reasonable requests from management and assist with company events.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and data handling.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in administrative or procurement support functions.
