Procurement Manager – Solar PV & Logistics (Cape Town)

About the role
We are seeking a Procurement Manager with strong experience in solar PV projects and international freight logistics to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will play a key role in supporting renewable energy projects worldwide by managing sourcing, supplier negotiations, and logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Support solar PV procurement across international projects.
- Manage freight forwarding, customs clearance, and shipment coordination.
- Drive cost‑improvement initiatives for inbound, outbound, freight, and duties.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
Required profile
- 5+ years of procurement or logistics experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV procurement and international shipping.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
