Process Engineer

About the role

Forvia is seeking a Process Engineer to support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes, validate product innovations, and ensure the deployment of process standards across plants and suppliers. The role involves maintaining tooling and equipment databases and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support process development and improvement, including validation of new product technologies.
• Develop and maintain process standards, checklists, guidelines, and best‑practice documentation.
• Assist production sites and suppliers in solving process‑related issues and manage engineering change requests.
• Maintain a local database of tooling and equipment to aid capacity management.
• Provide feedback on plant status, participate in tooling and equipment validation, and support start‑up activities.
• Collaborate with purchasing to evaluate and qualify tooling and equipment suppliers.
• Define and update process inputs for product innovation reviews and ensure manufacturability.
• Identify, validate, and promote best practices within the process engineering community.

Required profile

• Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with engineering change management and IATF requirements.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
