Process Controller

About the role
The Process Controller is responsible for operating a section of a process plant, ensuring that gauges and instruments stay within prescribed limits. The role involves maintaining accurate log sheets, monitoring utilities and raw materials, and stepping in on different production lines as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust gauges and instruments to keep processes within target parameters.
- Record changes in utilities and raw materials on log sheets.
- Operate a designated section of the plant and provide relief on other lines when required.
- Report any machinery or equipment faults promptly.
- Maintain safety, health, and hygiene standards throughout the work area.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Approximately 1.5 years of production experience in an FMCG environment.
- Experience in food processing and packaging operations.
- Understanding of health and safety standards.
- Forklift licence is advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy.
