Private Wealth Advisor

About the role

Join FNB’s Private Banking and Advisory Team as a Private Wealth Advisor. You will work with a diverse group of experts to deliver exceptional wealth creation, accumulation and protection advice to high‑net‑worth clients, driving client retention and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue and profit targets by growing a portfolio of private wealth clients.
• Provide independent, holistic financial advice and banking solutions across an allocated client base.
• Identify local and offshore fiduciary opportunities and advise on client philanthropy.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, audit and regulatory requirements.
• Build collaborative relationships across FNB and the First Rand Group to enhance service delivery.
• Conduct regular client reviews and market relevant financial services solutions.
• Participate in personal development activities and propose process improvements to reduce costs.

Required profile

• NQF7 level degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Completed RE5 qualification; CFP certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking, investment, financial planning or wealth management.
• Full understanding of money‑management principles.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs.
• Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions.
• Project management capability and independent work planning.
• Proven track record in servicing an existing client portfolio and acquiring new clients.
