Principal Statistician – Remote

About the role

Phastar is looking for an experienced Principal Statistician to join its FSP team and support a global pharmaceutical client. The role is fully remote and focuses on therapeutic areas such as GI, oncology, neuroscience, or infectious diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical expertise and scientific leadership on clinical studies.
• Lead and develop people within the statistical team.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and governance of statistical deliverables.
• Communicate findings and influence cross‑functional decisions.
• Support study design, Bayesian methods, and complex modeling/simulations.

Required profile

• PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience as a Statistician in CRO or pharmaceutical settings.
• 7+ years of CDISC experience, including ADaM/TLF validation.
• Experience with GI studies is advantageous.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
