Principal Architect – Systems & Business Enablement

About the role

The Principal Architect – Systems & Business Enablement is the senior authority responsible for shaping and integrating technology, processes and data into a unified operating model for VBTS. You will drive end‑to‑end architecture across OSS, ServiceNow (ITSM) and analytics platforms, ensuring scalability, automation and data‑led decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain current‑state and target‑state architectures for OSS, ServiceNow and data/analytics platforms.
• Act as design authority for major system and integration changes, reviewing and approving solution designs.
• Govern end‑to‑end process architectures, ensuring they are digitally enabled, automation‑ready and aligned with ITIL and TMF frameworks.
• Own the enterprise data architecture, including canonical models, system‑of‑record definitions and data lineage.
• Establish data governance standards covering ownership, quality, integrity and master data management.
• Define integration and automation standards for APIs, event‑driven and orchestration‑based workflows.
• Serve as technical authority for ServiceNow implementations, setting architectural patterns for modules and integrations.
• Run architecture governance processes and assurance activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture within the telecom or related industry.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale OSS, ITSM and data platform initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ITIL, TMF and modern integration paradigms.
• Ability to translate business needs into coherent, standards‑driven technical solutions.
