PPC Manager – Automotive (Edenvale)

About the role

The automotive client in Edenvale needs a specialist who lives in Google Ads to own paid‑search across a multi‑brand network. You will drive measurable improvements in cost‑per‑lead, conversion rate and revenue while managing complex account structures.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and continuously optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max and YouTube.
• Strategically manage budgets across brands and regions to align with inventory priorities and sales targets.
• Own keyword strategy, match‑type management, negative keyword maintenance and search‑term analysis.
• Conduct structured A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies and audience signals.
• Build and manage audience lists, remarketing campaigns and audience‑layering bid adjustments.
• Set up and maintain end‑to‑end conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Google Ads conversion actions.
• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports and live dashboards, translating data into budget and strategy recommendations.
• Coordinate co‑op search campaigns, oversee agency‑managed accounts and stay current with Google Ads platform updates.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years hands‑on experience managing Google Ads at scale, preferably in automotive or agency environments.
• Proven ability to optimise CPL, lead quality and ROAS across multi‑brand, multi‑location accounts.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or Data Analytics is advantageous.
• Google Ads certification (Search, Display and/or Performance Max) is essential.
