Social Media Co-Ordinator

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a Social Media Co-Ordinator based at Century City in the Western Cape. The role develops and implements the social media strategy to grow the company's online presence and strengthen its marketing and sales efforts. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Execute a results-driven social media strategy and develop and curate engaging content for social platforms.
• Help create and edit written, video and photo content, working with copywriters and designers.
• Attend events and produce live social media content.
• Maintain a unified brand voice across channels and collaborate with the marketing team on a social media calendar.
• Monitor channels for trends and stay up to date with best practices and technologies.
• Respond to user messages, inquiries and comments.
• Review analytics and report on key metrics.
• Help build and manage social media and influencer marketing strategies, and suggest promotions and competitions to attract customers.
• Create and run paid media campaigns and manage budgets.
• Coordinate events and carry out other ad hoc duties.

Required profile

• Copywriting experience.
• Valid driver's licence.
• An advantage: a relevant degree or diploma.

Required skills

• Understanding of the mobile and internet betting application and its functionality.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and monitor results to achieve goals.
