About the role
We are looking for a motivated Post-Article SAIPA Accountant to join our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, delivering accurate accounting, tax and advisory services in a supportive, professional environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their primary point of contact.
- Compile and prepare annual financial statements.
- Perform independent reviews of financial information.
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns.
- Calculate and submit income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
- Calculate provisional tax liabilities.
- Liaise with SARS on tax matters.
Required profile
- Recognised accounting degree.
- Completed SAIPA articles.
- Computer literate with Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience with Caseware, Xero and Pastel.
- Own car and a valid driver’s licence.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
