Portfolio Manager – Utilities

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Portfolio Manager to join our utilities team. The role supports profitability and accurate financial reporting across our property‑owner portfolio, ensuring strict credit control and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile and prepare account statements for payments.
- Receive and audit council accounts within the portfolio.
- Attend monthly management meetings with clients and prepare monthly reports.
- Implement strict credit‑control actions, including age analysis and client communication.
- Verify discrepancies, resolve issues promptly, and meet tight deadlines.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as required by the company.
Required profile
- Grade 12 with Mathematics; financial qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years experience in utilities portfolio management and people management.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Fully bilingual with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable, honest work ethic.
