Platform Delivery Lead (Cape Town, Northern Suburbs)

About the role

The client is seeking a delivery‑focused technology professional to lead platform, network and systems initiatives from concept to completion. You will work closely with senior technical leaders and external build partners, ensuring technical direction translates into concrete vendor commitments and successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Track delivery progress against milestones, timelines and vendor commitments across all active projects.
• Maintain visibility of dependencies, risks and cross‑project impacts, providing regular status updates.
• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for build and integration partners, holding them accountable to scope, schedule and quality.
• Facilitate technical workshops, keeping discussions anchored to agreed design principles.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLA arrangements and capability transfer commitments.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks, escalating design disagreements when necessary.
• Support architecture decision records and contribute a delivery lens in design sessions.
• Coordinate UAT, go‑live readiness and stabilisation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in platform, systems integration, network systems or technical program delivery, preferably in telco or ISP environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and hold external parties accountable.
• Strong understanding of systems, platform and network architecture concepts.
