Plant Controller – Strategic Finance Leader

About the role

The Plant Controller provides strategic financial direction for the plant, acting as a key business partner to the Plant Manager and Operations Manager. This role ensures the plant’s financial health through robust budgeting, accounting, and governance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership on short‑, medium‑ and long‑term financial decisions.
• Develop and coordinate the strategic plan, budget, and business planning processes.
• Provide financial performance metrics and cost‑management insights.
• Design and maintain sound accounting processes, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and compliance with corporate policies.
• Manage budgets, capex reporting, supplier performance, and working‑capital efficiency.
• Collaborate with tax authorities and support tax compliance activities.
• Promote corporate governance and internal control standards.

Required profile

• Strong financial leadership with experience in plant or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to partner with operational leaders and drive value‑creation initiatives.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost management, and capital expenditure processes.
• Experience in governance, internal controls, and compliance.
