Phlebotomy Technician / Staff Nurse – Malmesbury

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Phlebotomy Technician/Staff Nurse to join the team at our Malmesbury Crestcare branch. The successful candidate will demonstrate competence in phlebotomy, high ethics and alignment with PathCare values.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate or Phlebotomy Technician qualification and registered with SANC/HPCSA
• Computer literate; Meditech knowledge advantageous
• Phlebotomy experience essential
• Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
• Pathology experience highly advantageous, including order of draw and use of Point‑of‑Care instruments (Hemocue, Stratus) and arterial blood gas analysis
• Client‑focused with excellent attention to detail
• Adaptable and able to cooperate within a team
• Displays initiative and problem‑solving ability
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, stress‑resistant and result‑orientated
• Fluent in English with understanding of Afrikaans
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
