About the role

A 6‑month contract opportunity exists for a Phlebotomy Technician/Staff Nurse to join the team at the Emfuleni Vanderbijlpark branch. The role requires proven competence in phlebotomy, high ethical standards and alignment with PathCare values.

Required profile

Enrolled Nurse Certificate or Phlebotomy Technician qualification, registered with SANC/HPCSA
Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
Fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaas
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Acceptable performance record in technical and behavioural competencies

Required skills

Phlebotomy
Meditech computer system knowledge (advantageous)
Order of draw and operation of Point‑of‑Care instruments (Hemocue, Stratus)
Running arterial blood gas analysis on dedicated machine
