Pharmacy Sales Representative – Gauteng South & West

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Pharmacy Sales Representative to cover the Gauteng South and West territory, based in Roodepoort. You will promote our pharmaceutical portfolio to independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups and corporate chains, driving market share and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan targeting pharmacies across the assigned territory.
• Visit pharmacies regularly to present products, manage orders and ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists and key decision‑makers.
• Provide product updates, handle queries and resolve issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, meetings and sales activities in a territory database.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends and competitive activity for management.
• Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations for pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with marketing and prescription teams on product launches and promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, preferably within a pharmacy environment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and manage a busy travel schedule.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail for reporting and compliance.
