Pharmacy Manager – Kokstad

About the role

Clicks is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead the dispensary and clinic at its Kokstad store. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality pharmaceutical care while meeting sales and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dispensary and clinic, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution.
• Manage stock levels, shrinkage, housekeeping and administrative tasks in line with SAPC regulations and company standards.
• Control financial performance by monitoring expenses, achieving core dispensary and clinic targets, and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Recruit, lead, schedule and develop pharmacy staff, learners and interns to maintain a competent and motivated team.
• Drive customer service initiatives that enhance the customer experience, loyalty and club‑card participation.
• Collaborate with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide a comprehensive health offering.
• Uphold Clicks’ values and contribute to a high‑performing business culture.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Proven experience in pharmacy management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of good pharmacy practice and legal scope of practice.
• Ability to manage operational, financial and staff‑related responsibilities.
