Pharmacy Intern – In‑Hospital Pharmacy Services

About the role
This internship offers a hands‑on experience within an in‑hospital pharmacy environment. You will support the delivery of safe, cost‑effective pharmaceutical services to both in‑patients and the public while gaining exposure to multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the availability of medicines and scheduled substances for stores and the public.
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications.
- Maintain efficient stock levels of medicines and controlled substances.
Required profile
- Essential education: B Pharm degree.
- No prior experience required.
- Understanding of current pharmacy legislation, such as the Medicines and Related Substances Control Act.
Required skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems (e.g., UNISOLVE, AS400).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of good pharmacy practices, clinical pharmacy, and antimicrobial stewardship.
