About the role
We are looking for a qualified pharmacist to join our Local Choice Country Group of Pharmacies in Heidelberg, Western Cape. The role involves delivering high‑quality pharmaceutical services to the local community while supporting the overall operations of the pharmacy.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately and in compliance with South African regulations.
- Provide professional advice on medication use, potential interactions, and health promotion.
- Maintain stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy assistants and support staff.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive patient experience.
Required profile
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Proven experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Commitment to community health and safety.
