Pharmacist Assistant (QPB) - Clicks North Cape Mall

About the role

Clicks Group is looking for a full-time Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic - QPB) for its North Cape Mall store in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The pharmacist assistant provides pharmaceutical care within their scope of practice and handles day-to-day dispensary administration in line with the company's Standard Operating Plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care services in line with the scope of practice
• Perform day-to-day dispensary administration according to company SOPs
• Maintain high standards of customer service and care
• Ensure efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine
• Carry out accurate compounding
• Give general health advice to customers
• Maintain housekeeping and merchandise display standards
• Carry out ad hoc duties as required by operational needs

Required profile

• Matric with Maths (essential)
• Meets the minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)
• Product knowledge of Health isle and over-the-counter products
• Knowledge of the South African Pharmacy Council and relevant legal requirements
• Customer service orientation, teamwork, integrity and ethical practice
• Accuracy and attention to detail
