Pharmacist Assistant – Post Basic

About the role

Medirite New Market is seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to support the pharmacy team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a pharmacist, handling dispensing tasks and a range of administrative duties within a busy retail pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock control and manage inventory levels.
• Assist in dispensing medication under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform routine pharmacy administration, including record keeping and documentation.
• Provide front‑shop service, greeting customers and handling inquiries.
• Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping standards are met in the pharmacy area.

Required profile

• Qualified Pharmacist Assistant with a Post‑Basic certification.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a pharmacist and other team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
