Permanent Part‑time Retail Associate – Mall of Africa

About the role

Join adidas as a permanent part‑time retail associate at the Mall of Africa. You will support daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and help maintain a vibrant shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to every customer.
• Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit, and checks.
• Assist with product ticketing, verify paperwork, and support stockroom‑to‑floor flow.
• Help develop and maintain merchandise displays following management guidelines.
• Achieve proficiency with the point‑of‑sale system and use selling techniques to meet sales targets.
• Greet customers, act as a front‑door greeter during busy periods, and ensure store cleanliness.
• Monitor loss‑prevention procedures, report suspicious activity, and follow security protocols.
• Participate in in‑store or digital training (Atticus/AREA) and become familiar with Power BI tools to understand store performance.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Initiative, clear communication, and upbeat attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Adaptability to handle varied tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for fashion and confidence to style customers.
• Matric certificate; 0‑1 years of retail experience (fashion experience preferred but not essential).
