About the role

Join adidas as a Permanent Part‑time Retail Associate at Canal Walk, where you will help maintain store standards while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work alongside the store team to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming environment for shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to every customer.
• Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and checks.
• Assist with product ticketing, verify paperwork, and support stockroom‑to‑floor flow.
• Help develop and maintain merchandise displays following management guidelines.
• Become proficient with the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and use selling techniques to meet sales targets.
• Greet customers, act as a front‑door greeter during busy periods, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Support loss‑prevention efforts and report any suspicious activity.
• Participate in in‑store and digital training, and become familiar with Power BI tools for performance insights.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Strong initiative and clear, upbeat communication.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Adaptability to handle varied tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for fashion and confidence in styling customers.
• Matric certificate; 0‑1 years retail experience preferred but not mandatory.
