Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will execute NOV Tuboscope's regional sales strategy across Sub‑Saharan Africa, identify new business opportunities and promote the full portfolio of inspection, corrosion control, and drilling‑pipe technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the regional sales and business development plan in line with the MEA Business Plan.
• Identify, develop and secure new opportunities across key industry segments, building relationships with operators, drilling contractors, OCTG manufacturers, EPC contractors and distributors.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, manage forecasting and reporting through the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to recommend strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Product Line and Commercial teams to ensure successful project execution and customer support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
• Approximately 12 years of experience in regional management, preferably in corrosion control, inspection or machining businesses.
• Proven experience working with local and international operators, drilling contractors and service companies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Corrosion control expertise (coatings, non‑metallic).
• Inspection and machining knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems.
• Understanding of midstream and upstream business operations.
• Ability to create and track individual targets and metrics.
