Permanent Part-Time Retail Associate

About the role

We are looking for a permanent part-time retail associate to support day-to-day operations at our Canal Walk store. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards and assist the management team with various tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-level adidas service to every customer and act as a greeter during busy periods.
• Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit and checks accurately.
• Assist with product flow from stockroom to sales floor and help set up merchandise displays.
• Maintain store housekeeping, clean the sales area and ensure loss-prevention procedures are followed.
• Use the point-of-sale system efficiently and follow all store policies and procedures.
• Participate in in-store or digital training (Atticus/AREA) to build product knowledge.
• Monitor sales performance using Power BI tools and report any suspicious activity.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and customer service with a positive, upbeat attitude.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Adaptability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic education (Matric) and 0-1 years of retail experience (preferred but not essential).

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI for store performance insights.
