People Business Partner

About the role

The People Business Partner serves as the Human Resources driver and coach for multiple departments, partnering with line managers and directors to deliver core HR processes such as recruitment, performance management, talent development and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor HR processes throughout the year, providing coaching to line managers.
• Ensure excellent execution of HR processes across all departments.
• Translate business needs into actionable people plans that feed the year‑on‑year Capability Strategy.
• Diagnose performance problems and collaborate with specialist teams to design integrated HR solutions.
• Provide HR reporting and data for the organization scorecard.
• Lead the People Pillar VPO/DPO agenda within the relevant departments.
• Maintain data integrity of SAP HR information at the local level.
• Support local delivery needs such as employee relations, industrial relations and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant HR or business‑related degree with a postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum 3 + years experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.
• Proven stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
• Credibility, integrity, presence and resilience.
