Patient Services Manager – Hospital Group – Mafikeng

About the role

The Patient Services Manager will lead the revenue cycle management function for a hospital group in Mafikeng, North West. This role ensures accurate billing, risk mitigation and financial performance across multiple patient‑service departments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on the hospital’s revenue cycle management operating plan.
• Inspect team work and ensure compliance with CHG quality standards.
• Research, enable and consult on technology improvements.
• Review and streamline billing processes to drive efficiencies and reduce redundancy.
• Oversee Reception, Admissions, Case Management and Billing Auditing departments.
• Achieve revenue and collection targets for the department.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress and keep rejection rates within acceptable thresholds.
• Conduct daily end‑of‑case reconciliation and audit billing accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years experience in private‑healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree with anatomy and physiology and current SANC registration.
• Advanced certification in intermediate coding or a nursing degree is an advantage.
