Paid Social Media Consultant

About the role

Webrepublic, Switzerland’s leading digital agency, is expanding its South African subsidiary and seeks a Paid Social Media Consultant to drive large‑scale paid campaigns for international clients. You will translate client goals into data‑driven social strategies and manage end‑to‑end execution across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Translate client marketing objectives into high‑impact paid social strategies and media plans.
• Build, structure, and launch target‑driven campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
• Apply technical knowledge of pixels, conversion APIs, attribution modeling, and UTM parameters.
• Monitor cross‑channel performance using CPC, CPA, CTR, ROAS and adjust budgets accordingly.
• Design and run A/B tests, conversion lift and brand lift studies.
• Manage budgets, ensure efficient media spend, and forecast future spend.
• Generate performance reports and dashboards, turning raw data into actionable insights.
• Maintain brand safety and platform policy compliance.
• Collaborate with platform representatives to stay ahead of algorithm updates and growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in paid media campaign management, strategy, optimisation and reporting.
• Working knowledge of GA4 and Looker Studio for dashboarding.
• Basic understanding of pixel implementation and third‑party tracking.
• Proven ability to manage and forecast ad budgets.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Organised, proactive self‑starter with ownership attitude.
• Fluent English (German a plus) and valid RSA ID with legal right to work in South Africa.
